Hope’s Dream Rescue Permanent Residents
Hope
Hope is a 11 year old standardbred mare. She is the reason the rescue exists. She is a former harness race horse and once she arrived to us, we transitioned her and thought how to ride in a saddle and is now living her life doing barrels and trail rides.
Meeko
Meeko is a 20 year old Belgian Stallion and our Gentle Giant. He is a former Amish plow horse who has worked his entire life and was then shot in the head and sent to slaughter. He is now living peacefully providing therapy services and enjoying the kids feeding him treats.
Romeo
Romeo is the senior man who gave almost every child that came through our center their first experience on the back of a horse. RoRo is a 30 year old quarterback horse / Clysedale mix and will forever be with us.
Olie
RIP ❤️🌈🪽
Olie was a 16 year old Argentinian Warmblood. He was a former jumper until his kissing spine got the best of him. This beautiful giant was retired on our farm and was providing therapy services and was the most amazing babysitter.
